Occasionally I happen upon some really supa shit that I want you guys to know about, and this is one of those times. Ripe Jewelry, brought to you by Folasade Ologundudu out of NYC, is straight up sick. I'm ready to spend my student loan money on a set of the Naomi earrings (the top pic) from the Femme Fetale Collection which is based on Vargas style pin ups and remind me of Las Vegas, not Vegas now but the seedy glam Vegas that movies like Showgirls call to mind. Not only are her jewels sick Sade herself is on some fly shit. She went to FIT, worked with Bijules NYC, dipped her paws in photography, and you can find her goods in Patricia Fields. In short this lady is moving on up, and we know how I love ladies that are doing their things.
